- We provide monthly free WordPress Presentations through WP Toronto Meetup Group. Here is a typical presentation.
- We provide website development and redesign in the broader context of what makes for an effective client IT and Web Presence
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Our experience at ImagenationIT.net, TheOpenSourcery.com, and ThePhotoFinishes.com is that spam comments out number legitimate ones by at least 10 to 1. This is true even with Spam Suppressing plugins in place. When visitors leave a legitimate comment on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
Users are not allowed to upload images to the website.
Within the next quarter, an active Contact Form and Optin service soliciting email address for our newsletter will be inaugurated. There is currently no active contact form information or database. When that database gets created it will NOT be shared with 3rd parties or stored offsite.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. ImagenationIT.net currently uses Vimeo, YouTube, SQLFiddle, CodePen, GitHub and JSFiddle. ImagenationIT may use other 3rd party services and will respond to any complaints about the current or future 3rd party services.
Who we share your data with
Except in the case of spam data and website usage statistics, no data is shared.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (Not yet started), the personal information provided will be stored in a user profile. We intend to provide a service so that all users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
